With our organic fruit Preserves, you will discover how the tastes of fruits and vegetables can be combined with  notes that only the goji berry is able to give to the palate.  And, in addition to the taste, you will have a uniquely nutritional product, rich in antioxidants.
All of our Preserves are cold processed in order to conserve the organoleptic, nutritional and nutraceutic characteristics of the products used in the recipes.  Primarily the goji berries, which are gathered by hand on our farms in Val di Chiana (Arezzo).  We scrupulously respect the seasonality of the goji berries as well as the other ingredients, gathering the fruit at the  moment of their natural maturation.  This allows us to obtain the maximum flavor  and freshness,  as the products are worked by artisans soon after their harvest.
In this way, our Preserves have the same characteristics as the fresh product, with unique organaleptic properties  and flavors to discover.  We have been inspired by recipes in the Tuscan tradition, with a touch of innovation.
Our Preserves have been designed to accompany fresh or aged cheese and whole Tuscan goji berries have been added.  Only organic brown sugar has been used so as to obtain a smooth consistency.  A small curiosity:  according to how many goji berries are present, the flavor of the Preserve may vary slightly, rendering each bite new and different.
Besides pairing divinely with cheese, our Preserves can be enjoyed on bread or as an addition to yogurt or ice cream.

FIG AND TUSCAN GOJI PRESERVE


In addition to being rich in antioxidants like polyphenols and flavonoids, whose properties contrast free radicals, the seeds, mucilage, the sugary substances contained in these fruits, whether fresh or dried, possess delicate laxative properties, helpful for children,  since they stimulate intestinal peristalsis. We have paired figs with Tuscan goji berries and the result is a amber coloro Preserve with whole berries that reward the palate with a sweet taste and an almost spicy persistence.

 

 

 



 

PEAR, HOT PEPPER AND TUSCAN GOJI PRESERVE


Rich in calcium, pears reduce the risk of osteoporosis and hampers the process of bone depletion caused by gradual demineralization.  They contain large quantities of boron, improve the reflexes and the capacity to imagine notions and help the memory.  We believe the combination of pears with hot pepper and Tuscan Goji berries is a perfect equilibrium of nutraceutical properties and flavor.

 

 

 

 

 


 

PEACH, HOT PEPPER AND TUSCAN GOJI PRESERVE

Peaches contain beta carotene which, in our organism is transformed into vitamin A.  This performs multiple functions against pollutants, purifies and helps the bone, teeth and skin.  Vitamins A and C are also strong antioxidants and therefore,  combined with hot pepper and Tuscan Goji berries, form an excellent ally to fight free radicals.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

YELLOW SQUASH AND TUSCAN GOJI PRESERVE

The presence of Vitamin A and various antioxidants in squash are beneficial to the health of our eyes,  and help combat the onset of macular degeneration.  Combined with Tuscan Goji berries, it benefits teeth and bones.
 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

PEPPER AND TUSCAN GOJI PRESERVE

LYCIUM BARBARUM PLANTS

In the Val di Chiana, we have selected and planted  8,200 Lycium Barbarum plants. We are among the principal European producers of Goji berry.  We are in the process of converting to Demeter and, with these techniques that respect the environment, we obtain products with unique characteristics.

HECTARES OF CULTIVATION

Our land is in Val di Chiana (Arezzo).  It is here, in Tuscany, that the Goji berry has found its ideal environment in which to flourish.  We transform our organic Tuscan Goji berry into compotes, jams, and juices following artisan processes and use fruit and vegetables predominately from our region.

ZEAXANTINA

Our Tuscan Goji berry, a product of bio-dynamic farming, has demonstrated on average a 15-20% higher content of zeaxantina dipalmitato with respect to the best fruits in distribution.  Zeaxantina is the principal antioxidant in Goji berries, easily assimilated by our organism.

TONS OF GOJI BERRY

In 2015, we had our first, true harvest of Goji berries.  Our production of Tuscan Goji berry will increase over the years to about 100 tons of the fresh product.  We hope to reach this productive capacity in 2019.  The Goji berry falls into the category of supplements with antioxidant properties
